Chamber Music Concert: The Borderlands Ensemble at Exo

How often do you get to hear chamber music in the setting it was actually intended for – an intimate space where you can connect with the performers and experience the music up close and personal?

Join local classical musicians from the Borderlands Ensemble as they perform solo and chamber works by Mozart, Dohnanyi, Bach and more. The concert will also include collaborative art/video pieces that coordinate with the music, part of a special project created this summer by horn player Johanna Lundy.

The Borderlands Ensemble is passionate about sharing classical music with audiences and is inspired by fun and unexpected concert locations. The group features some of Tucson’s finest professional musicians, including Johanna Lundy, French Horn, Ellen Chamberlain, Violin, Ann Weaver and Sarah Toy, Violas, and Robert Chamberlain, Cello. Past performance venues include The Loft Cinema, MOCA Tucson, Phoenix Art Museum, Borderlands Brewery, St. Charles Tavern and others across Arizona.

From the virtuosic solo music of Bach to the passionate gypsy influences of Hungarian composer Dohnanyi’s music, to the sparkling finale of Mozart’s Quintet for Horn and Strings, this concert will surprise and delight.

Tickets are only 10 dollars in advance! See ticket link
