Mezcal Tasting with Exo Proprietor Doug Smith

Mezcal is a complex and fascinating world. Distilled from agave, arguably no spirt expresses place-based tradition--history, culture, ecology, cosmology--more eloquently than mezcal. Please join us for a tasting of five mezcals representing diverse terroirs. In addition to savoring some of the best mezcal has to offer, you will learn something about the geography, production methods, and flavor profiles that make the spirit unique. 

Doug Smith is the owner of Exo Roast Co and has travleed extensively in Mexico. Coffee and Mezcal are twin passions and have much in common with one another in terms of geography, growing practices and local economies. We invite you to learn beside us as we explore these intersections of plant and culture. 

The tasting is from 6 to 7 PM and will include samples of 5 mezcals and a small appetizer. This event will be limited to 10 people.
